The Topper Club started with three huskies and a bowl.

Like a lot of dog owners, I wanted to feed my dogs something fresh and real. But most of the options I tried didn’t feel quite right. Even when the food was technically “fresh,” feeding still felt like scooping the same thing into the bowl every day.

I realized what I was missing wasn’t just a different type of dog food.

It was the feeling of building the bowl.

When I cook for my dogs, the part I enjoy most is slowing down and thinking about what goes into their meal. Maybe they exercised more today. Maybe I want to add something I also ate that day. That moment—standing over the bowl, adding ingredients, seeing it come together—feels like a small act of care.

And the payoff comes a few seconds later when three huskies start crowding the kitchen, wooing and spinning because they know their bowl is coming.

The Topper Club exists to make that moment easier.

Instead of replacing your dog’s food, we created a menu of bowl-building ingredients—real foods you can add to bring variety, color, and excitement to the bowl.

Because dogs shouldn’t have to eat the exact same thing forever. And feeding them shouldn’t feel automatic.

Every bowl is a chance to slow down, think about your dog, and build a better bowl.
